Meet the Facilitators
David Millar
David is a devoted husband, father and founder of Mantra Menswork, providing support for men seeking healing, growth, and transformation. As a former elite level GB athlete (Judo), now turned transformational coach, David guides men through coaching, courses, and immersive programmes, empowering them to find purpose, clarity, and practical skills to thrive in life.
Having been on his own journey through dark depression and near suicide, David's mission is to provide men with the support and brotherhood he once lacked. His coaching approach involves helping men master their emotions, overcome barriers, limiting beliefs and navigate the path to personal fulfilment. Drawing on his experience, training and his own healing journey David helps men unlock their potential, fostering positive change in their lives.
David passionately advocates for a return to the wisdom of community elders, the strength of men's councils, and the reclaiming of ceremonies and rites of passage. He believes these elements, often lost in modern society, are crucial for the well-being of boys, men, and fathers. David's diverse background as a professional athlete, coach, tutor, and entrepreneur, coupled with extensive training in transformational coaching and intimacy coaching, equips him with a compassionate and comprehensive approach to his work.
In essence, David Millar is a catalyst for men's empowerment, leading them on a transformative journey towards feeling better, living better, and embodying their best selves across all facets of life.
Alistair Leaver
Alistair is a gifted chiropractor, owning his own private practice where he delivers the highest level of healing and support for people by bringing about complete alignment. His skill and intuitive nature in his delivery of chiropractic wizardry blends well with his passion for Menswork.
Alistair brings an innate sense of awareness and genuine care to his work as a facilitator, allowing him to support people fully through their process.
From a young age Alistair was led by a fierce curiosity, wonder, and a deep desire to seek answers and experiences that are somewhat 'out of the box'.
He has been blessed by many teachers and experiences on his path and has come to recognise this life as a gift.
His driving force and motivation comes from gratitude and a genuine want to give something back, to share and to bring some good into this world. His aim is to leave it just a little bit better as a result of his work.
Alistair believes that disconnection - from self, other, nature, and our source - is at the root of every problem we face as a species. His contributions as a chiropractor, men's work facilitator & yoga teacher are all tied by the same thread - to bring about connection and healing.
His hope is that all men may find this work and benefit in the way that he has, and that the ripple effects can create a better world.
